Publishing
Getting finished content out of Seerly, through WordPress, Webflow, or export with posting instructions.
Publishing happens from a finished draft. , open a draft, then choose its Destination.

Overview#
How approved content leaves Seerly. There are two routes: publishing directly to your own site, and exporting with posting instructions for everywhere else.
Nothing publishes without a person approving it.
Publishing to your own site#
Two content management systems are supported.
WordPress. Connect your site once and publish drafts straight to it.
Webflow. Connect a site and collection, map your fields once, and publish into it the same way.
In both cases the content is converted to markup the destination understands, with headings, a meta description and structured data, so the published page is set up to be readable and citable rather than needing manual cleanup afterwards.
Webflow needs slightly more setup than WordPress, because Webflow collections have custom fields that vary per site. You map those once, in settings, and later publishes reuse the mapping.
What to check after your first publish: that the post looks right in your theme or template, and that the meta description carried across. Themes and collection templates vary in how they handle imported content, so it is worth confirming once rather than assuming.
Every other channel#
Other channels are a manual handoff. Seerly formats the content for the destination and gives you posting instructions, and you post it.
This is deliberate for the community platforms in particular. Reddit and Quora restrict automated posting, and content that reads as automated undermines the standing that makes those platforms worth participating in. The handoff keeps a person in the loop where a person is required.
For LinkedIn and X, the export is formatted for the destination so it can be pasted without reformatting.
How each channel publishes
| Channel | How it publishes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Connect once, publish direct | Supported end to end |
| Webflow | Map fields once, publish direct | Collections vary per site |
| Formatted export you paste | No direct publish | |
| X | Formatted export you paste | No direct publish |
| Formatted export plus instructions | Automated posting is restricted | |
| Quora | Formatted export plus instructions | Automated posting is restricted |
After you publish#
The first hour: open the live page once. Themes and collection templates vary in how they treat imported content, so confirm the headings survived, the meta description carried, and nothing arrived wrapped in the wrong template. This is a once-per-destination check rather than a per-piece one; after the first clean publish, trust the pipeline.
The first week: log the piece in Tracked actions with its focus keyword while you still remember why it exists. Nothing else. The piece cannot be cited before it is discovered and indexed, so there is nothing to watch yet.
The first month: New Citations on Citations is where the piece first shows up if it is working, and it shows up there before any score moves. A piece that earns a citation within a few cycles is doing its job; one that has not after a month or two is worth re-reading against the pages that ARE cited for the same prompt, where the difference is usually format or specificity rather than quality.

Best practices#
- Published rather than queued. Drafts affect nothing at all until they are live somewhere.
- Checked before posting. Generated content needs your facts and your judgement on any claim it makes, and it goes out under your name rather than anybody else's.
- Posted where the gap actually is. If a topic is being won by community threads, publishing a blog post is addressing a different problem from the one you have.
Next steps#
- Connect WordPress or Webflow, whichever runs your site, since it removes the copy-and-paste step for the channel you will use most often.
- Verify the first published post end to end, then trust the pipeline afterwards.
- Record what you published with Tracked actions, so that movement weeks later can be attributed rather than guessed at.
- Wait before judging it. Discovery and indexing take several cycles, and nothing you read in the first few days means anything.
Limitations#
Publishing puts content live. It does not guarantee a citation. Being cited depends on the content being discovered, judged relevant, and then preferred over whatever is being cited today, and only the first of those is in your hands.
Seerly does not manage social scheduling or run campaigns. It produces the content and hands it over to you.
