See where you stand against every competitor you track in AI answers, and what they publish every week.
Seerly gives you competitive intelligence focused on the competitors you track: your brand beside every one of them, on exactly the same prompts you are measured on. Head to head and Tracked competitors are included on every plan. Competitor intelligence, a weekly report of what they publish, is available on request.

Topic battleground
How often each brand is named on the same prompts. When that is within 5 pts, the better average position decides who leads. If that is close too, there is no clear lead.

What they published, and where
New pages on each competitor’s own site, and stories about them on other sites. A run of near-identical pages counts as one update, and a story counts once however many sites ran it.
What counts for you
Which of their updates cover a topic you track, which ran on sites your AI answers already cite, and which mention your brand. Your own numbers sit right beside theirs.
What needs your attention
Launches and pricing changes, mentions of you, and bulk content pushes: 50 or more look-alike pages a competitor published in one short burst. The report shows what it measured and never judges why.
The week’s read
A short written read of the week’s major moves, such as funding, launches, pricing changes and big pushes on your topics. Points show their sources, so you can open the article behind them.
Honest about what it checked
If a site couldn’t be checked, the report says so rather than showing a zero. Posts are read where they are published, such as a blog subdomain. If a competitor’s site now redirects elsewhere, it says where.
Act on it from the report
Create response content opens a Content Creator chat with what they published already filled in. For customer stories, Collect customer stories adds an action to Tracked Actions, to help you ask your own customers.
Weekly, Monday to Sunday. Whole calendar weeks, in your project’s time zone.
A month from the start. Your first report covers the 4 weeks before it.
Told when it’s ready. A Telegram message, if your project has Telegram connected.
How it works
From your competitor list to a weekly report, in three steps
Track your competitors
Choose who to watch on the Tracked competitors page. Seerly suggests likely competitors from your category, you decide, and the report covers exactly your list.
Each week, we read what they publish
Seerly checks every competitor’s own website for anything new, and what other sites have published about them. Your own brand gets the same check.
Read the report and act on it
Start with the week’s read and what needs your attention, then open a response draft, or a customer stories action, straight from the report.
Available on request. Select Request access on the Competitor intel page, and an admin turns it on for your project.

Everything you need to know about Seerly Competitor Intelligence
Each report shows what every competitor you track published in the week, on their own site and on other sites, with your own brand’s week beside theirs.
- Headline numbers: unique updates, updates on your tracked topics, coverage on sites your AI answers cite, and updates that name you
- Activity by competitor, with their recent weeks and the themes their updates cluster around
- A short written read of the week’s major moves, with its sources
- Needs your attention: launches, pricing changes, mentions of you and bulk content pushes, with a next step where there is one
- Everything your competitors published, which you can narrow to their own sites, third-party sites, your topics or sites AI cites
Create response content opens a Content Creator chat with what the competitor published already written into it. When what they published is customer stories, Collect customer stories adds an action to Tracked Actions instead, to help you ask your own customers.
Read the Competitor intelligence docsWe read their posts where they publish them. Some companies keep their posts on a blog subdomain, or under another section of their site, and we find those from the links on their own homepage.
Each week we also check what other sites have published about them. A story counts once, however many sites ran it.
A short line under each competitor’s name says how much of them was checked: Checked, Checked by search, Partly checked or Couldn’t check. When their posts came from a different host than their main site, the line names it.
Every week. Reports cover whole calendar weeks, Monday to Sunday, in your project’s time zone.
Your first report covers the 4 complete weeks before the week it runs in, so there is a month of competitor moves to read from the start. A first scan usually finishes in under an hour.
After that, a new report arrives each week on your project’s set day, covering the Monday to Sunday just gone. If your project has Telegram connected, a message tells you when a report is ready.
Head to head and Tracked competitors, comparing your brand with every competitor you track, are included on every plan.
The weekly Competitor intelligence report is available on request rather than included in a plan. Open Competitor intel in the sidebar and select Request access. An admin reviews the request and turns it on for your project. Until then, the page shows an example report with invented companies.
No. When a competitor’s homepage now always sends visitors on to a different domain, as after a rebrand, we don’t follow it there, because that domain may belong to someone else.
Search covers them instead, and the report says where their site now goes. If it now leads to a competitor you already track, the report says that too, so you can stop tracking the one that moved.
Seerly runs your tracked competitors through exactly the same prompts you are measured on, so the comparison is like for like rather than two separate reports side by side.
- Share of voice for you and every tracked competitor, with its change from the previous week
- Mention rate, average position and citations on the same table
- Head to head, which sets your brand beside one competitor, topic by topic and source by source
- Share of voice trends, week by week
An AI answer typically names three brands and moves on. Fourth place is absence, which is why your position against everyone else is the number that matters.
Read the Competitors documentationYes. Seerly works out whether each brand it finds is a direct competitor, an indirect one, or not a competitor at all, and you can correct it.
- Direct: competes for the same buyer with the same offering
- Indirect: competes for the same answers without selling the same thing
- Excluded: not a competitor, and left out of your measurement
- Auto: Seerly works the brand out again on its next analysis
A classification you set is kept through every future analysis. Indirect competitors are worth keeping in, because in an AI answer they take the slot just as a direct one does.
Topic battleground shows one row per topic, with each brand’s mention rate and average position, and who leads it.
A brand leads a topic when it is named in more than 5 points more of the runs. When that is close, the brand placed at least half a position higher leads, as long as both were named in at least 3 runs. Otherwise the topic has no clear lead.
Who leads each topic puts every brand you track on one grid, with the topics a competitor leads first, so the work is at the top.
